9 people lost their lives due to fire in the textile warehouse of Kirari, Delhi. According to the information received so far, 3 people died on the spot due to fire while 6 others died during treatment. After the fire was reported, the team of fire brigade reached the spot and controlled the fire after much effort.
Delhi Police got information on PCR
Police said that we got the news of the fire through PCR call. According to the police, 'First house fire was reported, but when we arrived, we saw that there was a fire in the warehouse. Some people were sleeping in the warehouse at the time of the fire. All those injured in the incident have been admitted to the nearby Sanjay Gandhi Hospital.
Lack of security measures in the warehouse
Police reported that security measures were not taken in the warehouse. There was no safety equipment to extinguish the fire and there were only one staircase to get out of the warehouse. According to the information so far, women are also among the dead. People at the scene say that there is a warehouse at the bottom of the four-storey building where the fire first started.
