In the preparations for the assembly elections, a unique campaign has been run for two days in the Delhi Election Office since Friday. Office teams went among the morning walkers to make general voters aware of the election.
Elections office teams met about five thousand people in 80 parks of the capital and discussed the process of elections and voter lists. Not only this, the election staff also worked to add and improve the name in the voter list.
Election office officials said that the teams involved in this campaign went among the morning walkers and told them not only about voter registration. Rather, improving the voter list, EVM and VVPAT system was also mentioned.
The operation could not be carried out due to the implementati
on of Section 144 in Central and North Eastern Districts. Teams will work in all the districts of Delhi on Saturday. People can contact to get electoral information as well as to add names in voter list and get corrections.
