The capital Delhi saw a thick fog on Monday morning with a severe winter. Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 2.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Cold wave outbreak was also seen in Uttar Pradesh . Due to severe cold and fog, many trains are running late. Due to this, passengers are facing difficulties. In view of the severe winter for the third consecutive day, people took shelter at night in the Ran Base, near the Anand Vihar Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT). At the same time, homeless people were seen sleeping in the streets near Turkman Gate area in Delhi. There is no relief from severe cold in North India . In such a situation, schools have been instructed to close at many places.

Temperatures dropped in many districts of UP
According to the report of the Zonal Weather Center, most areas of Uttar Pradesh are currently in the grip of Sheetalhar . During the last 24 hours, many areas of the state were surrounded by dense fog in the morning and night. The day temperatures in Bareilly, Moradabad, Gorakhpur, Agra and Moradabad divisions of UP recorded a significant decline. Whereas in Jhansi, Varanasi, Faizabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Allahabad, Bareilly, Moradabad, Agra and Meerut divisions, the night temperature was below normal.
