The government convened the meeting on Thursday after a letter sent by the NCRTC to the government demanding land. In this the GDA also presented its side with inability to give land. The GDA cited the absence of 30 hectares of land adjacent to the Delhi-Meerut highway under the Madhuban-Bapudham scheme.
Apart from this, land is set in the plan for hospitals, schools, petrol pumps, CNG pumping stations and other utilities. At the same time, 22 hectares of land has been laid to give land to the farmers with compensation. CATP on behalf of GDA put the party in governance.
According to departmental sources, GDA has taken 800 crore bank loan to compensate farmers under Madhuban-Bapudham Yojana. In the plan to take loans, about 50 hectares of group housing and commercial land have been mortgaged to give bank loans. In such a situation, it is not possible for GDA to give land to NCRTC.
In such a situation, the NCRTC will have to work fast on the first model of Duhai again if the disappointment in the Madhuban Bapudham scheme. Explain that the NCRTC had proposed a depot at Duhai of Rapid Rail Corridor. 67.0523 hectare land of three villages was notified for the Rapid Rail Depot at Duhai in July 2019.
This includes notification of 37.87 hectares in Bhikkanpur village, 25.50 hectares in Basantpur Sainthly village and 3.6725 hectares in Duhai.
He will become unemployed if he is given agricultural land for Rapid Rail Depot. He had demanded that a person from his family be given a government job. The NCRTC is not ready on this. Now, with the second option almost closed, the NCRTC will have to move on to the first option.
The first section is to start by March 2023. The section from km long Sahibabad to Duhai station is to start by March 2023. But the land issue of the depot is stuck. To start the first section on March 2023, the NCRTC will have to apply for the railway's safety trial run by March 2022, a year before. In such a situation, due to lack of land and construction delays, the problem of NCRTC can increase.
For seven stations, land has not yet been received
NCRTC has proposed seven stations in Ghaziabad. About 2.50 lakh square meters of land is needed. In the meeting of the Mandalayukta, the officials of the NCRTC had kept the complete details of the need for the station wise requirements. The NCRTC requires 32108 sq m in Duhai, 27064 sq m in Guldhar, 27719 in Ghaziabad, 34921 sq m in Sahibabad, 38214 sq m in Muradnagar, 45087 sq m in Modinagar South and 48887 sq m in Modinagar North.
In Madhuban Bapudham Yojana, GDA does not have 30 hectares of land together for the depot. The plan is to leave land for utilities like schools, hospitals, petrol pumps etc. In such a situation, the authority of the land for Rapid Depot has been placed before the government.
