The ceremony was conferred with the highest Akashdeep Alankaran to renowned Hindi writer and editor Gyanranjan and noted Marathi poet and novelist Bhalchandra Nemade. Under this, he was paid a cash amount of Rs five lakh and a quiz.
On the same occasion, five other Hindi litterateurs, Gyan Chaturvedi, Gagan Gill, Sunita Budhiraja, Amber Pandey and Utpal Banerjee, under the Amar Ujala Shabd Samman-2019, also paid a sum of Rs 1 lakh each with the emblem.
Gulzar congratulated Amar Ujala for coming to Mumbai and organizing the event. On this special initiative of Amar Ujala, Bhalchandra Nemade also expressed his special gratitude to the group.
