In view of the protests, the number of passengers in buses and cabs increased on Friday as a precautionary closure of metro stations. Especially on routes going to different areas from Old Delhi and ITI. Due to the closure of metro stations, people resorted to buses, autos and cabs to reach their destination.
Buses coming from Kashmiri Gate to Darya Ganj and New Delhi railway stations were diverted to Ring Road. This caused a lot of trouble for the passengers to reach their destination.
In the evening, with the burning of vehicles and the deterioration of the metro stations in the Delhi Gate area, the passengers preferred to travel in buses. Due to the opposition of the CAA, while buses were crowded on the one hand, passengers on the other hand used cabs to reach their homes quickly.
