The air quality has reached a poor level in most areas of Delhi. In many places it is being recorded at a dangerous level. Continuous decline in the quality of air with severe cold is increasing people's problems. According to Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) data, the Air Quality Index (AQI) at Anand Vihar on Wednesday morning was recorded at 412 which falls in the dangerous category.

DPCC has indicated AQI level of 391 in RK Puram which Falls in the category of quite bad. AQI 439 was recorded in Rohini where the situation is worse than Anand Vihar. In Rohini, AQI remains at a dangerous level. However,
AQI between 0-50 is considered 'good', while 51-100 is considered as 'satisfactory'. Is placed in Apart from this, 101-200 is considered 'moderate', 201-300 is considered 'bad', 301-400 is considered 'very bad' and 401-500 is considered 'severe'. At the same time, AQI above 500 falls in the 'Gambhir Plus' category.
The air quality level in Anand Vihar deteriorated considerably and AQI 412 was recorded here, making it fall into the serious category. AQI was 348 in Ghaziabad and 427 in Noida. According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), there is currently an improvement in surface wind speed and ventilation.
