One of the accused involved in the abduction and poxo case escaped from the police station in Surajpur district on Monday night. Surajpur Inspector General of Police KC Aggarwal said six police officers, including an assistant sub-inspector and a sergeant, have been suspended for laxity in the case.
He told that the accused will be nabbed soon. The Poxo Act, 2012 is a comprehensive law to protect children from heinous crimes such as sexual harassment and exploitation.
