CAA passed by Modi government has caused a lot of tension across the country and people are protesting in many cities. Protests against CAA and NRC also took place at Mumbai's August Kranti Maidan, in which many Bollywood celebrities made an appearance. However, actress Richa Chadha missed out on this Protest and has posted about it on social media.

Richa tweeted, "I was fully ready to go to the Protest but I was delayed due to shooting." But I am not sad. Hope can be differentiated in any living and dead person with the help of hope. Today we have hope. Apart from this, he also thanked Mumbai Police in this tweet.

Was all charged up and ready to go. Shoot delayed me. But not sad!

It is worth mentioning that earlier in a conversation with India Today TV, Swara Bhaskar also gave his opinion about this law. He had

said that 'I do not support CAA and NRC because it is a constitutional attempt to make India a Hindu nation with the help of these laws. This law is not only against the constitution but it discriminates against a minority community of India.

Apart from this, Tamil star Siddharth said that CAA is a very stringent law. He has justified the anti CAA and NRC Protests going on across the country and said, this is a terrible law and we should protest against it continuously. It is our right to protect. I have told the protesters that they should not lose control and always keep watching what they are saying because people are ready to distort any of your statements. We have to stand united against it. '
