In these years, 285 metro stations were also constructed in a total area of 389 km in the expansion of the metro network, i.e., the network of metro grew by about 23 km every year. Now in the fourth phase also, the network expansion will get new momentum in the new year.
Location of Delhi Metro, started in collaboration with Japan, is among the world's leading countries in terms of network. Till date, a total of nine different colored Metro lines are being operated.
From Dilshad Garden on Red Line to Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Hub, Ghaziabad), Dwarka Sector-21 to Noida Electronic City / Vaishali (Blue Line), Samaypur Badli to Huda City Center (Yellow Line), Indralok. Brigadier Hoshiar Singh (Green Line), Kashmiri Gate-Raja Nahar Singh Ballabgarh (Violet Line), New Delhi-Dwarka Sector-21 (Airport Express Line), Janakpuri West-Botanical Garden (Magenta Line), Majlis Metro is being operated at Park-Mayur Vihar, Pocket-One and Trilokpuri Sanjay Lake-Shiv Vihar (Pink Line), Dwarka-Najafgarh (Gray Line).
