Meerut. Multannagar resident businessman Dinesh Sharma has accused former Team India bowler Praveen Kumar of assault. The businessman alleges that Praveen also pushed his seven-year-old son. Praveen was intoxicated. He was infuriated when he could not find a side from the bus that was taking the children on the road. The businessman complained to the Tipinagar police station.

Dinesh Sharma told that his seven year old son Yashvardhan studies in Meerut Public School, Vedavyaspuri. She gets him a school bus and takes him. According to the victim, Praveen Kumar was intoxicated. He lost his temper after a slight delay in getting the bus out of the way. Dinesh alleges that Praveen pushed his bike, breaking his finger. The son sitting with him also got hurt due to falling from the bike. After this Praveen left the scene.

Praveen Kumar denied the businessman's charge. He said that there was a minor conflict in the colony. Dinesh's attack hurt his nose. He does not want to aggravate the case. This is the reason why he did not complain to the police.
