Washington . US President Donald Trump told the people of Iran on Saturday that he is standing with them and monitoring the demonstrations. On January 8, Iran shot down a plane from Ukraine. Iran on Saturday confessed that its army accidentally targeted Ukraine's passenger plane. In a statement issued by the government, it was called a human error. Hundreds of people have been demonstrating in Iran since this incident.

Trump tweeted- I stand with the brave and long suffering people of Iran from the beginning of my term. My administration will stand by you. On the other hand, Iran's Foreign Ministry on Saturday condemned the restrictions imposed by the US on some Iranian industrial companies and officials. On Friday, the US acted in response to its missile attack on US forces in Iraq and imposed more sanctions on Iran.

Americans are dealing with us unilaterally: Iran

According to the report of the news agency Xinhua, Iran's manufacturing, mining and textile sectors have been banned as well as senior officials of Iran. Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi said that unfortunately the Americans are treating us unilaterally, illegally and ill. Americans have imposed restrictions on industry sectors that are directly linked to the daily lives of millions of people. These sanctions reveal America's hostile policies towards Iran.

UK Ambassador detained for a few hours

British Ambassador to Iran Rob Macair was arrested for a few hours on Saturday evening for organizing and participating in the protest here. Hundreds of students were protesting against the Ukraine plane crash outside Amirkabir University of Technology in Tehran, which included Macair, according to reports from the news agency Tasnim. Students took out a rally and demanded action against those responsible for this accident.

During the performance, people also torn the picture of Sulaimani

During the rally, protesters allegedly tore a picture of Qasim Sulemani, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran. The police also used force to disperse the protesters. Commander Sulaimani was killed in a US drone strike last week. Macare is accused of inciting the protesters. He was released a few hours after his arrest, but summons will be summoned in this regard.
