Delhi Assembly Polls 2020: After the uproar over the candidate's face in New Delhi seat, BJP has introduced its candidate within the final spherical. This time BJP has fielded Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) President Sunil Yadav for the New Delhi seat. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is within the Aam Aadmi Party floor on this seat. The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) introduced Monday evening not to contest elections with the BJP, after which an inventory of candidates' names was launched. After this, the candidates, who had been ready for the announcement of the names on the seats, breathed a sigh of reduction and the leaders of the foremost events reached the Election Commission workplace to register the nominations from the morning itself.
There are 10 candidates for this record. SAD has a special opinion on the Citizenship Act (CAA) and that’s the reason the social gathering determined not to contest elections with the BJP. The names of the BJP have been included in its final record. It will have Delhi BJP spokesperson Tejendrapal Singh Bagga from Hari Nagar and social gathering's Purvanchal Morcha chief Manish Singh from Delhi Cantt constituency.
In this record, BJP has introduced candidates for all of the 4 seats from the place SAD candidates used to stand within the meeting elections. This time, the social gathering has nominated Dharamvir Singh as Kalkaji, former Deputy Mayor Sanjay Goyal as Shahdara, Ramesh Khanna for Rajouri Garden, Sumanlata Shaukeen from Nangloi Jat, Ravindra Chaudhary for Kasturba Nagar, Kusum Khatri for Mehrauli and Anil Goyal from Krishna Nagar.
BJP has left three seats for its allies JD (AK) and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP). JD (AK) Burari and Sangam Vihar, whereas LJP will discipline its candidates from Seemapuri seat. Voting will be held in Delhi on February eight and counting will happen on 11.
