Criminals are extracting new jugaads to avoid gold smuggling and police. A passenger was arrested at Delhi Airport on charges of gold smuggling . He was hiding gold inside the hand mixer. The customs officials were shocked when they saw the mixer open. 31 lakh 55 thousand gold was seized from the passenger.
Officials said that the passenger was bringing gold from Jeddah in Saudi Arabia to Delhi. When the passenger who came to Delhi with gold from Jeddah was stopped for investigation, the authorities found a hand mixer with him. Everyone opened their senses upon seeing this. Gold was hidden inside the mixer.
It did not declare the gold it had brought to the Customs officials on the T-3. After crossing the Green Channel, the custom stopped it for investigation. When the luggage of the passenger was examined, gold worth Rs 31 lakh 55 thousand was recovered from it.
