DDA officials informed that Delhi Master Plan-2021 was amended regarding EWS and Community Services Personnel Housing is. Under this, now developers will be able to sell EWS flats directly to the beneficiaries identified by local bodies and DDA.
Whereas earlier 50 per cent of its housing units were handed over to the DDA for the purpose of housing the poor. Due to this, the allottees had to bear double duty. Officials say that the cost of the flat would have increased due to the beneficiaries having to pay the burden of double stamp duty. The new amendment will remove this problem.
Amendment of Master Plan in relation to fitness center
DDA amended the Master Plan on new in ground floor and basement in residential and mixed use roads The proposal for a wellness and fitness center has been approved. Wellness centers will offer day spas, weight loss centers, Ayurvedic treatments, aesthetic medicine services. The proposal will be sent to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs for consideration and final notification.
