The US President Donald Trump has erupted over the decision of the Iraqi Parliament to repatriate foreign forces following the assassination of Iranian General Qasim Suleimani. Trump said that if Iraq forces the US forces to withdraw, we will impose such a stringent sanctions against them that they have never faced before. Trump also warned Iran and said that if the Islamic country attacked, we would "very strongly counter-attack" it.
Trump said, 'We have an extraordinary and very expensive airbase in Iraq. It has cost us a billion dollars. We are not going to leave it until they have given us money in exchange for this airbase. If they force us to leave this airport, then we will impose such severe restrictions against them which they have not faced till now. Let us tell you that Trump's point was towards the Balad military base, which is 50 miles from northern Baghdad.
Earlier Iraq's parliament voted in favor of the withdrawal of foreign forces. Not only this, the Iraqi parliament said that it would be different from the US-led international coalition. On the other hand, after the rocket attack for the second consecutive day near the US Embassy in Baghdad, Trump threatened Iran once again. He said that any Iranian attack on the American people or targets would be given a befitting reply.

On the criticism of the threat of an attack on Iranian cultural sites, Trump said, "They (Iran) are allowed to kill our people." They are allowed to torture our people. They are allowed to bomb the roadside and blow up our people and we are not allowed to touch their travel sites? It will not work that way. '
Significantly, on Saturday night, Donald Trump warned that if Iran attacks American troops or property, the US will target 52 Iranian sites and 'very swiftly and vigorously attack' them. In its tweet, Trump said, "The 52 digit denotes the number of people who were held hostage in the US Embassy in Tehran in 1979 for more than a year." Trump also said that some of these places are very important for Iranian culture. Trump's statement was heavily criticized and called it a war.
