New Delhi . The country's top ten trade unions have called for a nationwide strike on Wednesday. It also includes some services including banking, transport. According to the report, 250 million employees are expected to participate in the strike. Employees will protest against the anti-people schemes of the Modi government
Ten major trade unions are involved in this strike. These include INTUC, AITUC, HMS, AIUTUC, CITU, TUCC, SEWA, AICCTU, LPF, UTUC to name a few other independent federations. He announced in September 2019 that the strike would be held across the country on 8 January 2020.
Many bank employees organizations said to be involved
Many banks had already informed the stock exchange about this strike. Several employee organizations of many banks have expressed their willingness to participate in the strike. These include the names of AIBEA, All India Bank Officers Association, BEFI, INBEF, INBOC and Bank Employees Army Federation.
