Himachal Pradesh School Education Board will further improve grammar studies in schools. Under this, grammar syllabus will be changed from sixth to tenth standard. Along with this, a separate text book will be prepared for every class.
A plan has been made to add grammar in Hindi subject and redesigned and supplementary subject with the name Vedic Culture. The Board of School Education has constituted a committee for this.
The committee will first organize workshops of language teachers to prepare grammar courses. The present system has only one grammar books for class VI to VIII and ninth and tenth standard.
On Monday, the meeting of C&V Teachers Association took place in the board premises headed by Dr. Suresh Kumar Soni, Board President. The meeting also discussed changes in the curriculum of the art subject.
State C&V Teachers Association President Chaman Sharma, Special Secretary of the Board of Education Daljit Singh, Joint Secretary Vijay Kaundal, Additional Secretary Rekha Kapoor. Etc. be present.
The board has increased the assessment allowance of the answer book. Now this allowance of teachers will get ten rupees instead of seven rupees 25 paise per paper. Apart from this, on the demand of C&V Teachers Association, the board has also agreed to increase the rate of sessions per chief examiners, superintendents, deputy superintendents, assistant superintendents and supervisors. Also assured to consider providing remuneration allowance of examiners / chief examiners appointed in the site evaluation at the center as soon as the work is over.
Teacher's House to be built in Dharamshala
– School Education The board has decided to set up a teacher's house in Dharamshala. An action plan is being prepared for this. Teacher House is proposed to
be constructed at a cost of about five crore rupees.
