Former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis lashed out at the Uddhav government and Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam also questioned.

On Monday, a march was taken from Mumbai's Hutatma Chowk to Gateway to protest against the attack on JNU students. It was attended by students from IIT Bombay, Tata Institute of Social Science and many other educational institutions. Famous film personalities also appeared in the protests. Students involved in the demonstration said that today it happened with JNU, tomorrow it will happen to someone else and then it can happen to us. Left-wing activists and student organizations took to the streets on Monday in Odisha, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu against violence in JNU. IIT-Madras students performed
Students of Indian Institute of Technology-Madras (IIT-M) and Madras University took to the streets on Monday to protest against JNU violence beating. "A group of students took out a procession in JNU against the Violence and Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA)," said a member of Chintabar, an IIT-M student organization. He said that the student group discussed what is happening in the country and JNU and immediately decided to hold a demonstration after that.
