Jayant Naskar is being elected twice as MLA from Gosaba meeting seat. He says that he has constructed his own statues, as a result of he doesn’t consider that after his death, his supporters or family will get his statues erected.
Jayant Naskar’s life is in peril and he’s all the time guarded by 11 policemen. Naskar has acquired threats a number of occasions. Naskar says that “We are politicians, we have now many enemies. When we die nobody will know us. I can die any day. After my death, my family might not set up my statue, so I’ve determined that I’ll get my own statue constructed. ‘
