The government instructed Parliament on Wednesday that they’ve no knowledge on the edge of religion in the matter of granting citizenship. Earlier, Home Minister Amit Shah said that 566 Muslims from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan have been granted Indian citizenship in the final 5 years.
