चंद्रशेखर ने पुलिस बर्बरता का विरोध कर रहे छात्रों का साथ देने की बात कही। जामिया में चल रहे प्रदर्शन के दौरान छात्रों ने रणनीति बनाई थी कि वह कैंपस के बाहर जाकर कोई प्रदर्शन नही करेंगे। इसी रणनीति के तहत छात्र कैंपस के आसपास ही प्रदर्शन करते रहे। छात्रों का कहना था कि सुबह करीब नौ बजे दोबारा छात्र जामिया नगर के गेट नंबर-6 पर जुटेंगे।
नदवा में पुलिस पर पथराव
उधर, लखनऊ के नदवा कॉलेज में प्रदर्शन कर रहे छात्रों ने पुलिस पर पथराव किया, जिसके बाद कॉलेज 5 जनवरी तक बंद कर दिया गया। इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय में भी हंगामे के चलते छुट्टी कर दी गई और परीक्षाएं स्थगित करनी पड़ीं। अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम विश्वविद्यालय में हॉस्टल खाली करा लिए गए हैं और 5 जनवरी तक छुट्टी कर दी गई है।

मौलाना आजाद विश्वविद्यालय के छात्रों ने परीक्षा का किया वॉक आउट
हैदराबाद की मौलाना आजाद नेशनल उर्दू यूनीवर्सिटी के छात्रों ने सोमवार को अपनी परीक्षाओं का बहिष्कार किया और जामिया विश्वविद्यालय में पुलिस दमन के विरोध में प्रदर्शन किया। विश्वविद्यालय के अधिकारी ने बताया कि यहां के छात्र संगठनों ने सोमवार को आयोजित सभी परीक्षाओं का बहिष्कार करने का एलान किया है।

तमिलनाडु के कई शहरों में छात्रों ने नागरिकता कानून को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। एसएफआई से जुड़े छात्रों ने चेन्नई, मदुरै और कोयंबतूर रेलवे स्टेशन पर प्रदर्शन किया और पुलिस ने उन्हें वहां से हटाया। आईआईटी मद्रास के छात्र महात्मा गांधी और बाबासाहब आम्बेडकर के फोटो के साथ विरोध प्रदर्शन करने उतरे। चेन्नई के लॉयोला कॉलेज के छात्रों ने जामिया के छात्रों के समर्थन में धरना भी दिया।
मुंबई में छात्रों ने दिखाई एकता
मुंबई में सैकड़ों छात्रों ने जामिया और एएमयू के छात्रों के प्रति एकजुटता का प्रदर्शन किया। टाटा इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ सोशल साइंस के छात्र कॉलेज परिसर के बाहर जमा हुए और उन्होंने हाथों में पोस्टर लेकर सरकार के खिलाफ जमकर नारेबाजी की। इन पोस्टरों पर दिल्ली पुलिस की निंदा करते हुए नारे लिखे हुए थे।
विरोध पर कुलपति और रजिस्ट्रार को भेजनी होगी रिपोर्ट
जवाहर लाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय, जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया, एएमयू आदि कैंपस में छात्रों के उग्र प्रदर्शन के बाद अब सरकार ने विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन को छात्रों की दिक्कतों पर फोकस करने के आदेश दिए हैं। सरकार ने कहा है कि यदि कैंपस में किसी भी प्रकार का विरोध प्रदर्शन होता है तो कुलपति व रजिस्ट्रार रिपोर्ट बनाकर भेजें। इसके अलावा छात्रों की दिक्कत को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर दूर करने को कहा है।
कवरेज कर रहे पत्रकारों पर हमले की निंदा
नागरिकता संशोधन अधिनियम के खिलाफ देशभर में प्रदर्शन और हिंसा की कवरेज कर रहे लोकतंत्र के चौथे स्तंभ मीडिया को निशाना बनाया जा रहा है। दिल्ली से लेकर असम और पश्चिम बंगाल तक में कई पत्रकार सुरक्षा बलों का निशाना बन चुके हैं। सोमवार को प्रेस क्लब ऑफ इंडिया ने इन घटनाओं की कड़े शब्दों में निंदा करते हुए सरकार से तत्काल संज्ञान लेने की मांग की है।
रविवार को दिल्ली के जामिया विवि के आसपास हुई हिंसा में भी एक महिला पत्रकार ने दिल्ली पुलिस पर बदसलूकी के आरोप लगाए हैं। वहीं, अलीगढ़ और गुवाहाटी में भी कवरेज कर रहे पत्रकारों के साथ सुरक्षा बलों के गलत बर्ताव की सूचनाएं हैं। प्रेस क्लब ऑफ इंडिया के अनुसार, वे सुरक्षा बलों की चुनौती और कार्य को भलीभांति समझते हैं, लेकिन इसका मतलब यह नहीं है कि लोकतंत्र की आवाज को ही दबा दिया जाएगा। पत्रकारों पर हमलों का कड़े शब्दों में विरोध किया जाता है। केंद्र सरकार को इस मामले में तत्काल संज्ञान लेते हुए सभी राज्यों के पुलिस अधिकारियों को आदेश जारी करने चाहिए।
प्रदर्शन के दौरान छह मेट्रो स्टेशन रहे बंद, देर शाम बहाल
जामिया नगर में विरोध प्रदर्शन को देखते हुए सोमवार को छह मेट्रो स्टेशनों को बंद कर दिया गया था। हालात नियंत्रण होने पर शाम सात बजे के बाद मेट्रो सेवा को बहाल कर दिया गया। दिल्ली मेट्रो रेल कारपोरेशन के मुताबिक रविवार को जामिया में हुए प्रदर्शन और पुलिस कार्रवाई के विरोध में सोमवार को प्रदर्शन को देखते हुए जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया मेट्रो स्टेशन को चार घंटे के लिए बंद कर दिया गया। इसके अलावा इंडिया गेट पर हुए प्रदर्शन के दौरान पटेल नगर, केंद्रीय सचिवालय, उद्योग भवन, लोक कल्याण मार्ग और जनपथ मेट्रो स्टेशन के प्रवेश और निकास को दो घंटे के लिए बंद कर दिया गया।
इंडिया गेट पर देर रात जुटे प्रदर्शनकारी
जामिया विवि और एएमयू में छात्रों पर पुलिस कार्रवाई के विरोध में सोमवार देर रात इंडिया गेट पर हजारों की तादाद में लोग प्रदर्शन करने पहुंचे। इनमें दिल्ली के विभिन्न विश्वविद्यालयों के छात्रों के अलावा उनके अभिभावक और अन्य लोग मौजूद थे। इंडिया गेट स्थित अमर जवान ज्योति के समीप प्रदर्शनकारियों ने दिल्ली पुलिस के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने दिल्ली पुलिस के खिलाफ नारे लगाए। हालांकि पुलिस ने प्रदर्शनकारियों की तादाद को देखते हुए आसपास बैरिकेड लगा दिए थे। साथ ही प्रदर्शनकारियों को इंडिया गेट के आसपास मार्ग अवरोध न करने की अपील भी की गई।
प्रदर्शनकारियों आरोपी पुलिसकर्मियों पर सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग की। डीयू के छात्र विनोद गुप्ता ने बताया कि वह सोमवार को बाकी छात्रों के साथ प्रदर्शन कर रहा था। इसी बीच उनके सामने ही काफी संख्या में सुरक्षा बल डीयू परिसर में हथियार लेकर घुसे थे। सुरक्षा बलों ने विवि परिसर में जामिया जैसा ही माहौल बना दिया था। आरोप है कि पुलिस छात्रों के प्रदर्शन को हिंसक रूप देने पर तुली हुई है। वहीं कालिंदी कुंज इलाके से आए मोहम्मद जावेद बताते हैं कि उनका भाई मो. अख्तर बुरी तरह से चोटिल हुआ है। वह जामिया का छात्र है और बीती रात लाइब्रेरी में मौजूद था। पुलिस ने जो किया वह बिलकुल गलत है। पुलिस के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए।
आईआईटी में भी हुआ विरोध प्रदर्शन
तीन प्रतिष्ठित भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थानों (आईआईटी) के छात्रों ने जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया और अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम विश्वविद्यालय के छात्रों के खिलाफ पुलिस कार्रवाई का सोमवार को विरोध किया। आईआईटी कानपुर, आईआईटी मद्रास और आईआईटी बॉम्बे अक्सर ऐसे प्रदर्शनों से दूरी ही बनाए रखते हैं, लेकिन इस बार उन्होंने छात्रों पर पुलिस कार्रवाई का विरोध किया है। आईआईटी कानपुर के छात्रों के लगाए गए एक पोस्टर में लिखा है कि, उन्होंने जाधवपुर विश्वविद्यालय में छात्रों के प्रदर्शन पर कार्रवाई की। हम कुछ नहीं बोले। उन्होंने एमटेक का शुल्क बढ़ा दिया, हम कुछ नहीं बोले।
उन्होंने जेएनयू (जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय) में प्रदर्शनकारियों छात्रों को पीटा, हम कुछ नहीं बोले और अब जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया और अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम विश्वविद्यालय के साथ यह हुआ। यदि हम अब भी कुछ नहीं बोले तो छात्र समुदाय के प्रति हमारी प्रतिबद्धता पर गंभीर सवाल खड़ा होगा। इसलिए आओ, जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया और अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम विश्वविद्यालय के छात्रों के साथ एकजुटता दिखाने के लिए परिसर में आयोजित मार्च में मिलकर हिस्सा लें। छात्रों ने मंगलवार को परिसर में मार्च का आह्वान किया है। इसी प्रकार, आईआईटी मद्रास ने परिसर में गजेंद्र सर्किल पर रैली और प्रदर्शन का आह्वान किया है। आईआईटी बॉम्बे ने रविवार रात को प्रदर्शन किया था।
दक्षिण भारत के छात्रों में रोष, केरल में सत्तापक्ष और विपक्ष एक हुए
नागरिकता संशोधन कानून (सीएए ) के विरोध को लेकर केरल में सोमवार को सत्ता पक्ष और विपक्ष एक हो गए हैं। वाम मोर्चे वाले एलडीएफ सरकार और कांग्रेस के नेतृत्व वाले विपक्षी यूडीएफ ने इस मुद्दे पर आपस में हाथ मिला लिया है। केरल के अलावा दक्षिण भारत के तमिलनाडु, हैदराबाद के छात्रों ने भी इस कानून के विरोध में प्रदर्शन किए। केरल में सीएम पिनराई विजयन और विधानसभा में विपक्ष के नेता रमेश चेन्निथला ने संयुक्त ‘सत्याग्रह’ शुरू किया। यहां मार्टेयर्स कॉलम में तीन घंटे तक चले सत्याग्रह में राज्य के मंत्री, एलडीएफ और यूडीफ के नेता शामिल हुए।
केरल पहले ही एलान कर चुका है कि यह कानून उसके यहां लागू नहीं होगा। विजयन ने फेसबुक में पोस्ट में लिखा कि, राज्य ने संयुक्त रूप से विरोध करने का फैसला किया क्योंकि इस कानून ने नागरिकों के बीच चिंता पैदा कर दी है और संविधान में दी गई समानता और धर्मनिरपेक्षता के मूल्यों को खत्म कर दिया है। दिल्ली के जामिया के छात्रों पर पुलिस कार्रवाई की तस्वीरें सोशल मीडिया में वायरल होने के बाद यहां छात्र संगठनों ने रविवार को प्रदर्शन किया था और जब उन्होंने राजभवन पर लगे बैरीकैडों से आगे कूदना शुरू किया तो पुलिस को उन पर पानी की बौछारें डालनी पड़ीं।
मणिपुर राज्यपाल नजमा हेपतुल्ला को दिखाए काले झंडे
कोच्चि के निकट अलौवा में युवा कांग्रेस के कार्यकर्ताओं ने सीएए के विरोध में मणिपुर की राज्यपाल नजमा हेपतुल्ला को काले झंडे दिखाए। जब हेपतुल्ला हवाईअड्डे जा रहीं थी तो युवा कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने उन्हें काले झंडे दिखाए। पुलिस ने प्रदर्शनकारियों को हटाया, उसके बाद राज्यपाल गंतव्य की ओर रवाना हो सकीं।
किसी भारतीय की नागरिकता नहीं जाएगी : शाह
झारखंड में एक चुनावी सभा में गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने कहा, मैं छात्रों से अपील करना चाहता हूं कि नागरिकता कानून में किसी भारतीय की नागरिकता छीनने का कोई प्रावधान नहीं है। बहकावे में न आएं। संयम और शांति बनाएं रखें। कुछ स्वार्थी तत्व आग लगाने का काम कर रहे हैं। कांग्रेस, आप और टीएमसी गुमराह करके देश में हिंसा का वातावरण बना रहे हैं।
अफवाहों को रोकें राज्य: गृह मंत्रालय
इस बीच, हिंसक प्रदर्शनों को लेकर केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने सभी राज्यों को एडवायजरी जारी की है। मंत्रालय ने हिंसा रोकने, लोगों की सुरक्षा देने और संपत्तियों का नुकसान सख्ती से रोकने को कहा है। मंत्रालय ने सोशल मीडिया पर फर्जी खबरों और अफवाहों पर लगाम लगाने के लिए भी कहा है। मंत्रालय ने साफ किया है कि इस कानून के तहत हिंदू और पांच अन्य समुदायों के किसी भी अवैध प्रवासी को स्वत: भारतीय नागरिकता नहीं मिलेगी।
