Near the West Coast of Africa, pirates have abducted 20 Indians aboard a commercial ship. Officials gave this information. Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar said, "We are concerned about the hijacking of 20 members of the ship MT Duke crew (as reported by the shipping agency) in the deep sea off the west coast of Africa on 15 December."
He said that this is the third such incident in the region this year. Kumar said, our mission in Abuja has raised this subject with Nigerian authorities and officials from neighboring countries.
