The court said this while hearing the application of Pawan Gupta's father convicted in the Nirbhaya case. The convict's father has filed an application, accusing Nirbhaya's friend of taking money and making statements in the media.
Metropolitan Magistrate of Patiala House court Sudhir Kumar Sirohi said that witnesses take oath in court and record their statements, what they say outside the court, their credibility cannot be questioned.
