After a peaceful protest throughout the day on Friday in the Jama Masjid area, the protesters were agitated in the evening. After this, outside the District Deputy Commissioner of Police at Daryaganj started stone pelting. It is alleged that the protesters set fire to the private vehicle of a policeman. Police have taken action and arrested 40 miscreants from the spot. Police have arrested 15 people after completing the legal process.

His wife of 52 years said how an elderly man can cause nuisance.

He has a leg injury on his arm. He said that those who stayed on the spot after the fire, were caught by the police. Akram said that all the people were returning to their homes after offering Namaz, when suddenly a crowd of hundreds came and started violent clashes with the police.
