Special Cell of Delhi Police has exposed illegal arms manufacturing factory in Kairana (UP). Police have arrested four, including two accused of making weapons. The accused had set up a factory in the farm. The accused used to supply arms in Delhi, UP and Haryana.
According to Special Cell DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, many teams of Special Cell were keeping watch on those who made and supplied illegal weapons. During investigation, the team of Inspector Tilak Chandra Bisht found that Sarwar, a resident of Kairana, Shamli (UP), is running a factory to manufacture and supply illegal weapons. The people of this gang supply arms in Delhi, UP and Haryana.
The police team again received information on 19 December that Mazahir, a resident of Ramada (UP) village of Kairana, a member of the gang, would accompany one of his companions to Bhalswa Flyover and GT Karnal Road Flyover to supply arms. Police team laid siege here and arrested Munsad resident of Dabhedi Khurd (UP) village of Majahir and Kairana. Ten weapons were recovered from their possession.
Both the accused stated that he works for Sarwar, a resident of Kairana. At the behest of him, he came to Delhi to supply arms to the dealer. Sarwar has set up a factory in Mazahir's field and Tufail and Favor make weapons.
The team of Special Cell raided Mazahir's farm in Ramada, Kairana in Shamli and captured Tufail, a resident of village Sujuru (UP) of Muzaffarnagar, and Ehsan, a resident of
Mohalla Khelakalan in Kairana. Five finished weapons, five unloaded weapons and 30 pistol making items were recovered from the factory.
