The social media platform Facebook banned live streaming of Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC), a government broadcaster of Pakistan, for news bulletins related to Jammu and Kashmir. PBC made this claim on Monday. He also said that due to this, the bulletins of Radio Pakistan have also been affected.

Temporary arrangements have been made on YouTube to continue live streaming of Radio Pakistan's bulletins. Radio Pakistan has included screenshots of early warning messages received from social media giant Facebook in its report, warning the public broadcaster on the violation of standards on dangerous individuals and organizations.

This post was specifically about the news of the curfew imposed after the death of Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani in July and the death of its commander Zakir Musa in May. Radio Pakistan said that the Facebook administration has banned live streaming of PBC news bulletins related to voices raising against military oppression, curfew and repression in Kashmir.

Firdaus Ashiq Awan, the chief spokesperson of the Government of Pakistan, said that Facebook's ban is a violation of human rights. The government will make efforts to restore the news of Radio Pakistan to live streaming on Facebook.

According to the Transparency Report released by Facebook in November, 31% of the total 17807 content (content) banned on social media platforms globally from January to July 2019 was from Pakistan. Facebook banned Pakistan's total of 5690 items
