In protest against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in different cities of the state last week Special vigilance has been taken this time in view of the violent demonstrations after the Namaz prayers. A special alert has been issued for the Namaz on Friday by DGP Om Prakash Singh.

To maintain law and order, paramilitary forces have been deployed in sensitive districts. 120 company PACs and about 35 company paramilitary forces are being used to avoid the recurrence of the last time. Apart from this, a large number of Sub Inspectors, Inspectors, Deputy Superintendents of Police, Additional Superintendents of Police and Superintendents of Police have been deployed.

The officers of all the districts have been instructed to use drone cameras also depending on the availability. Police personnel have been instructed to communicate with the common people on foot patrol and senior officers should be on a tour. The system has been asked to continue to divide the zones into zones and sectors.

The Imams of mosques in the districts have been approached and urged to appeal for peace after prayers. Instructions for special vigilance have been given in the districts where violent demonstrations took place last week.

Arrest without evidence
DGP Om Prakash Singh has said

that citizenship amendment In the violence against the law (CAA), no one should be arrested without evidence. He has asked the officials of all the districts to constitute a SIT under the chairmanship of Additional Superintendent of Police Crime to investigate the violence. In a district which does not have the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police, constitute a SIT under the chairmanship of an Additional Superintendent of Police level.

In the instructions sent to the officers of all the districts, the DGP has said that in any case No arrest should be made without evidence. Whatever FIR has been filed, first of all, it should be ensured that on whom the crime is committed, action should be taken accordingly. In the arrest of the accused, there were no incidents of assault. The DGP has cautioned the authorities to investigate only on merit, not to create any corruption situation.

Internet service will remain in many districts affected
Internet service will be partially or completely affected by the District Magistrates for the next 24 hours in many districts to ensure that no rumors spread after Friday prayers. These include Kanpur, Lucknow, Firozabad, Meerut, Aligarh, Bulandshahr, Bijnor, Hapur, Saharanpur, Rampur, Amroha, Bahraich, Bareilly, Muzaffarnagar, Sambhal, Varanasi, Azamgarh, Moradabad, Agra. There was violence in almost all these districts against the CAA.
