After two years, Gugan Singh has returned to BJP once again. In 2017, he joined the BJP and quit the AAP party. In the recently held Lok Sabha elections, 71-year-old Gugan Singh was also the AAP party candidate from the North West Delhi seat. At that time, Gugan Singh had described himself as a local leader and said that he is not a celebrity, who will come from outside and go to contest and will not work.
Gugan Singh was warmly received by the party at the Delhi Pradesh BJP office on Monday. On joining the BJP, Gugan Singh's first statement came against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
