Due to the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act, people had to face tremendous jam throughout the day on Friday. Road no-13 connecting South Delhi to Noida via Kalindi Kunj remained closed for the sixth consecutive day on Friday.

Several routes were closed by the police to prevent protesters from reaching Jantar-Mantar. The police had to close several routes in the evening as protesters at the Daryaganj-Delhi gate became angry.

Both carriageways of Road No 13 have been closed since Sunday afternoon due to protests in front of Shaheen Bagh Complex. Due to this, neither vehicles are going to Noida from Sarita Vihar via Kalindi Kunj nor are they coming to Delhi from Noida via Kalindi Kunj.

Due to this the traffic pressure increased on Mathura Road, Ring Road, DND and Agra Canal. There was jam from both the carriageways of Mathura Road from morning till evening.

On the carriageway going from Ashram Chowk to Badarpur, the drivers were upset with the closure of the left turn from Apollo Hospital towards Kalindi Kunj. The burned bus on Mathura Road was kept on the road from the footpath on Friday afternoon.

Due to this also jammed. The jam had reached Nizamuddin from Ashram Chowk. Similarly, the closure of Ranjit Singh flyover led to a jam near KG Marg, Tolstoy Marg, Mandi House, Connaught Place, Tilak Marg and Pragati Maidan.
