The government proposal (GR) released on Saturday states that under the Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Kisan Karjamafi scheme from April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2019 A loan of up to two lakhs, which has not been repaid by September 30, 2019, will be forgiven. Those with more than two lakh loans will not come under the purview of the scheme.

The proposal states that waiving of loans from nationalized, district cooperative banks and cooperative societies will be considered.
