Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to Lucknow on Wednesday for a brief two-and-a-half-hour visit. He will be in the city from 2.15 pm to 4.40 pm. During the event, entry of gunners and sheds with all the honorable officers of the 24-hour stay at Lok Bhavan will be restricted. Considering the security of the Prime Minister, the administration took this decision after a meeting with the SPG officers.
Those participating in the program must leave Gunner and Shadow long before the venue. From the PM's arrival at the venue until the departure, the mobile network jammer will be under the supervision and control of the entire Lok Bhavan campus.
On Tuesday, December 25, on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal, officers of the police administration were engaged in security arrangements for the Prime Minister's program. The DM and SSP held a meeting with the officers of the SPG team from Delhi to protect the PM. After this, PM Fleet also rehearsed to go from Helipad site to Lok Bhavan in Lamart ground in the late evening.
District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash said that during the PM visit on Wednesday, two dozen magistrates and other officers have been nominated for monitoring the safe zone created with security arrangements from the airport to the helipad and the venue Lok Bhavan. All officers and employees designated on duty will be required to wear a security ID card ribbon issued around the neck by the administration.
