The BJP has directly blamed the Congress and the opposition parties for the violence against the citizenship amendment law in the northeastern states, Jamia Millia University and Nadwa College in Lucknow. Terming the Jamia violence as a big conspiracy, the party said that the violence was deliberately instigated amidst preparations to bring Rahul Gandhi back to the Congress. During this time, the party called AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi as the new Jinnah of the country.
BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said that the fire of violence is deliberately provoking the opposition. Instead of responsible behavior, the opposition is creating an atmosphere of violence for its politics against a law related to the country interest. All the parties have fielded their own Jinnah in this game. If Owaisi is working as the new Jinnah of the country, the Aam Aadmi Party wants Amanatullah Khan to be Jinnah of Delhi in his competition. Violence incited for Rahul: Patra
