During the violent opposition to the Citizenship Amendment Act, the police-administration has started sending notices by marking the accused who have damaged public and private properties. Notices have been sent to 373 people across the state till Wednesday.
ADM Protocol VB Mishra said that in the notice issued on the basis of organizer political party, organization and personal, accused of sabotage and damage to properties on the basis of police investigation. It has been asked to submit written version in three days.
Based on this, the administration will start the statutory process to make up for the loss. Till then, the total damage assessment from the level of the four ADMs named on the instructions of DM will also be completed.
After this, recovery will be done from the accused. Notice of property recovery
has been sent to 200 miscreants including Sambhal in Moradabad division, 110 in Lucknow, 29 in Firozabad, 34 in Gorakhpur.
