The matter will be heard on 2 January in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs National Company Law for Tata Sons Appealed to the Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT). In fact, the ministry has urged the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) to remove the use of 'illegal' to convert Tata Sons from public to private company. The Registrar of Companies (ROC) filed an appeal in the NCLAT on Monday and appealed for amendment in this order. The NCLAT directed the matter to be listed for hearing on January 2 in the new year.
