In the railway, now the driver will be able to get the signal to stop and run the train in the loco cabin (inside the engine). The Ministry has designed this technology for better handling of railways and reducing accidents. For this, railways have started pilot project. This system is designed on the lines of Delhi Metro. Railway Board President VK Yadav said that the scheme is being worked on to improve rail services. Railways have marked 150-150 km of major corridors under the pilot project. Work is being done to install screens and systems on these routes. The project will cost around 650 crores.

Under the pilot project, work is being done between Jhansi-Bina, Yerraguntla-Renigunta, Vizianagaram-Bandra. After the project is successful, a network of 65000 km will be connected to this system. The cab signal project has been developed with the help of ISRO and IIT which will track the vehicle with the help of satellite. Currently, railways have such a system only in motion. Now the Ministry is preparing to bring even more cutting-edge technology.
