The written examination of 1218 vacant posts of forest guards will be held in the month of February. The Subordinate Services Selection Commission has proposed the exam date on February 16 and issued a letter to all the district magistrates. For the last nearly two years, the recruitment process of forest guards was hanging. In which one and a half lakh candidates have applied.
On the basis of the rules of the Forest Department, the selection commission has started the preparation of the written examination after getting the permission of the government to recruit forest guard posts. The Commission has proposed the date of February 16 for the examination.
Letters have been sent to the District Magistrates of all the districts to arrange examination centers. After the examination, the physical test of the selected candidates will be taken. Explain that the application process started in the year 2017. In which one and a half lakh candidates applied. But it was hanging on the physical test.
After which the Forest Department amended the rules and made provision to conduct written examination first. At the same time, the standards of the physical test changed. Selection Commission Secretary Santosh Badoni said that the Commission has proposed the date of February 16 for the written examination
