Mumbai. The stock market started today with an increase. The Sensex climbed 293 points to 41,893.41 in early trade. The Nifty gained 81 points. It touched a level of 12,337.75. These are both record highs of the index.
29 out of 30 stocks of Sensex and 44 out of 50 stocks of Nifty gained. Infosys shares gained nearly 4%. Sun Pharma gained 2% and IndusInd Bank gained 1%. Kotak Bank also rose 1%.
