Mumbai. The inventory market was in losses for the second consecutive day on Wednesday. The Sensex misplaced 51.73 points to shut at 40,817.74. The enterprise had slipped 393 points to 40,476.55. The Nifty closed down 27.60 points at 12,025.35. The intra-day touched a low of 11,929.60, falling 123 points. According to merchants, promoting in Asian markets was seen attributable to rising pressure between the US and Iran. Crude oil fee rose. This affected the Indian market.
Nearly 1% drop in auto index on NSE
18 out of 30 Sensex shares and 29 out of 50 Nifty shares closed down. 9 out of 11 sector indices on NSE have been at a loss. The auto index fell probably the most at 0.75%. On the opposite hand, IT index was the largest gainer at 0.37%.
