Cold outbreak continues across North India. On the first day of the new year, there was severe cold in many parts of the country and people were forced to stay in their homes. The worst news came from Sriganganhar in Rajasthan where the temperature reached below 1.5 degrees. While the mercury here reaches 50 degrees. Temperatures in some parts of the country were also recorded at 1 degree.

Cold wave was also seen in Delhi, where the minimum temperature was recorded at 2.4 degrees Celsius, five degrees below normal. Officials said that twenty five trains were delayed by two to nine hours due to fog. Safdarganj in Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 5.8 and maximum of 19.5 degrees on Wednesday morning. People got relief due to heavy sunshine on Tuesday.

Ambala, Hisar and Karnal recorded minimum temperatures of 2.4, 1, 0.6 degrees in Haryana, which is 6 degrees below normal. Narnaul, Rohtak, Sirsa and Bhiwani remained the same and the temperature was between 1 degree to 3.8 degrees.

Weather in Himachal arid

Himachal Pradesh The weather is dry and the heat of melting cold continues here. Many tourists from India and abroad have reached here on the new year, but the bitter cold has troubled them. Keylong recorded the lowest temperature minus 10 degrees. The situation remained the same in Kalpa and Kinnaur where the minimum temperature reached minus 4 degrees. In Manali, Kufri and Solan, people were able to shiver in minus 2.6 degree cold. Simla and Dalhousie also had the same condition.
