Baghdad On Friday night, an unknown assailants opened fire on the people protesting against the authorities. The incident killed 25 people whereas 130 are stated to be injured.
The capturing incident occurred at Al Khalani Chowk in central Baghdad. When the attackers from the car began firing on the protesting people. Protesters hid in close by buildings and mosques to flee. But by then many people misplaced their lives. According to authorities sources, the firing continued until Saturday morning. The attackers haven’t been recognized but.
Since October, people have been protesting against the authorities demanding financial reforms, social justice and elimination of corruption.
