Bahumuma. On the instructions of BJP National President and Home Minister Amit Shah on Citizenship Amendment Act, meetings are being organized by Divisional President and keynote speakers all over India.
The meeting was held in Ramraj on Wednesday at the residence of senior BJP leader Azad Bansal. In this, keynote speaker Vipendra Sudha Valmiki said that the opposition parties are doing politics by spreading confusion on the citizenship amendment law. He said that in the 1947 Partition of India-Pakistan, Hindu minority population in Pakistan was 23 percent. It has now come down to four percent. He said that religion was changed by exorcising the Hindus there. People belonging to minority communities are living in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Mahatma Gandhi said in an open prayer meeting on 26 September 1947 that if Hindus do not feel safe in Pakistan, they can come back to India. Government of India will arrange their citizenship and livelihood. In compliance with this, the Central Government enacted the Citizenship Amendment Act on 12 December. He said that no citizenship will be abolished by this law, but minority Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Parsis, Buddhists and Christians from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will be given citizenship.
