The folk artists of the state have received the New Year gift in the form of honorarium increase. Its mandate has been issued doubling their honorarium and travel allowance. This will benefit folk artists presenting programs on occasions such as fairs, festivals, festivals etc. held outside the state.
According to the mandate issued by Secretary Dilip Jawalkar, from time to time, cultural parties are sent to various programs from outside the state and the state. Each cultural party consists of 20 artists including a Dal Nayak.
At present, Dal Nayak is being paid Rs 500 honorarium and Rs 250 traveling allowance per day. Which has now been increased to one thousand rupees per day, honorarium and travel allowance to 500 rupees. Apart from this, other artists are given honorarium of Rs 400 per day and Rs 200 travel allowance. Whose daily honorarium has been increased
from four solar rupees to eight hundred rupees. While the traveling allowance has been increased from two hundred rupees to four hundred rupees.
