After the passage of the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) 2019 from the Parliament, the BJP has started preparations to counter the political opposition initiated by the entire opposition including Congress. Under this, the state government and organizations in all the states will jointly tell the people why this bill was brought. The most important point in this will be to clear the confusion being spread by the opposition about the citizenship of Indian Muslims.
This work will be done with the help of seminars, press talks and other programs from both the BJP and the government level. With the help of social media, the BJP will reach out to the people. The BJP Central Committee held a workshop of BJP leaders of several states including Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh at Delhi headquarters amid protests in various states including Northeast.
In this meeting, Animal Husbandry Minister Virendra Kanwar from Himachal Pradesh, State BJP General Secretary Ram Singh, Chief Spokesperson Randhir Sharma, Media In-charge Pra Shine Sharma, BJP MLA Rakesh Jamwal and Rahul Dogra, co-coordinator from BJP IT Cell. During the workshop, BJP national general secretary Bhupendra Yadav and Sambit Patra gave tips to counter the misleading propaganda being carried out by the people of the opposition.
The points on which the BJP will try to convince the people, to bring the bill, The reason for choosing only three countries, keeping only six people of religion, is included. Apart from this, special emphasis will be given that this bill is a bill to give citizenship, so there is no question of citizenship of Muslims of India. Through
this effort, the BJP will try to end the opposition against the Modi government and the questions raised on its intention.
