Munger. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has ordered strict action against officers who ignore the Public Grievances Redressal Act. At a divisional review meeting in Munger on Friday, the Chief Minister said that people have the right to redress grievances within the stipulated time. Any officer who is absent during the hearing or is negligent towards this task will be taken the strongest action against the DM of the district concerned, Principal Secretary of the departments and General Administration Department.
Apathy towards public grievances will not be tolerated. DM visits public service centers regularly. In particular, the applications of Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme should be disposed of rapidly.
