The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), who has been awarded the President's Police Medal, has been arrested along with two terrorists from the notorious terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen in Jammu and Kashmir. The arrest was made on Saturday near Mir Bazaar in Qazigund area of Kulgam district. It is being told that all three were driving in a car in the Quazigund area of Kulgam district at the same time when the police caught them. Both Hizbul militants have been identified as Naved Babu and Asif Raider.
Naved is the top commander of Hizbul while Asif is a listed terrorist. Both of them are residents of Shopian district and Asif joined Hizbul three years ago. It is being told that out of the white Maruti car from which these three were traveling, 2 AK-47s and some handgrenades were also kept by the police which has been recovered by the police.
