Haryana has recorded a drop in day temperatures by five to eight degrees Celsius due to the drizzle and rains that have continued for the last three days. After 12 January, the winter season may start again.

Here, heavy snowfall occurred in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal and Uttarakhand on Wednesday. At the same time, rain in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh dropped the mercury of the day. The mercury in Keylong in Himachal was recorded at -5.6 degree Celsius. The snowfall in Uttarakhand has completely covered 300 villages. Up to seven feet of snow has accumulated in Kedarnath. A 14-year-old girl died due to snow fall in Kathua, Jammu.

At the same time, the night temperature increased by five to six degrees Celsius. Due to this there is a difference of only 3 to 4 degree Celsius in day and night temperature. Ambala had a maximum temperature of 12.9 and a minimum of 9.8 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in Rohtak was 15.2 and the minimum was 10.6 degrees Celsius.
